More than vocabulary lists and verb charts

Lingual Learners is different from other Spanish classes in that we teach from a language acquisition model, the latest science-backed model on how the brain learns a language.

As humans, our brains are primed for absorbing a language, given the right environment. We get our students thinking in Spanish, using Spanish and learning topics from dance and music to history and geography in Spanish.

What Parents Say

"Lingual Learners has been a great addition to our homeschooling routine. The teachers are excellent and the curriculum is varied, including math, reading, art, and culture. Our kids look forward to it every week. They’ve made friends with whom we’ve connected with outside of class. We’re excited to see how our kids grow at LL in the coming years."

— Stephanie Smith, Lingual Learners Parent

What Kids Say

"I love to see my friends. I also learn about so many interesting things. Recently I learned about penguins, outer-space, and Columbia — all in Spanish!"

— Autumn Bryant, 10 years old

What Parents Say

"Lingual Learners is great because they have a very deliberate progression that nurtures Spanish skills (similarly to how a child learns their first language), but the focus of the classes is always on using Spanish to study ancient Egypt, the solar system, map skills, biographies, and a huge assortment of other engaging topics. Unlike in my Spanish education, no one (in the elementary program) is chanting verb conjugations or being quizzed on prepositions at Lingual Learners - they are far too busy just jumping in and using the prepositions to learn how to dance a saber dance!"

— Wendy Nichols, Lingual Learners parent

What Parents Say

"For us, Lingual Learner’s Spanish Immersion has been the perfect fit. Over the past three years, my children have not only made tremendous improvements in their Spanish skills but have also formed meaningful friendships with their peers. The program has fostered a supportive community where they feel encouraged to speak, practice, and grow. Beyond the language, they've developed a deeper appreciation for other cultures, which has broadened their worldview. We are incredibly grateful for this wonderful opportunity and the positive impact it’s had on their language development, social growth, and cultural awareness."

— Raquel Bryant, Lingual Learners Parent

What Parents Say

"As a former Spanish immersion teacher turned homeschool mom, I know the benefits of children learning a second language. Our family is very happy with the program at Lingual Learners. Both our children enjoy attending, interacting with their teachers and classmates, and participating in all the fun activities. They are well supported and come home singing songs, repeating new phrases, and proudly showing off their papers and art projects. They are both eager to keep learning more!"

— Claire Goodman, Lingual Learners parent

Creating a community of language learners

Learning a language can be hard work. It takes diligence and dedication, but most of all, it requires support! We want to create a community of language learners, both parents and children, who are learning and discovering the joy of a new language.

Whether you are fluent in Spanish, remember some of what you learned in high school or just know how to say "Hola!," we can give you ideas and support in bringing language learning home and provide opportunities to connect outside the classroom.
