Online Spanish 1, 2 and Advanced Spanish

Because student schedules get very busy in the middle and high school years, we've begun to offer some of these classes online, while continuing our in-person offerings on Tuesdays. We offer  Spanish 1, Spanish 2 and Advanced Spanish classes that meet twice a week, entirely online, using Google Classroom and Google Meet.

On Tuesdays, some students choose to come into our building to do their online class in the same room with some of their other classmates and spend the rest of the day on campus, taking other Spanish classes, having a study hall, or acting as a teacher assistant for our younger classes. The second weekly class is entirely remote.

Other students take their classes entirely online and stay remote. The choice is up to you!

"My son really enjoys his online Spanish 1 class with Lingual Learners. He does the homework happily, I regularly hear him laughing during class, and the teacher does a great job of keeping the students engaged."

— Kate Wilson, parent

Learning Spanish In Spanish!

All of our Spanish classes are taught almost entirely in Spanish, using language acquisition techniques. Our teacher uses comprehensible input and the knowledge students already have to make it easy to understand and respond in Spanish. Visit our About Immersion page to learn more about language acquisition and comprehensible input.

We use the Comprehensible Classroom's Somos curriculum, designed by language acquisition experts to maximize student understanding and retention. The curriculum is designed to be funny, interesting and dynamic — no dull verb conjugation charts or vocabulary lists!
